Tsukushi Sasaki
2024年、第75回プラハの春国際音楽コンクールのヴァイオリン部門で第1位(日本人としては玉井菜採氏に次ぐ2人目)、併せてプラハ市賞、チェコラジオ賞、ベーレンライター賞、ヴィクトル・カラビス＆ズザナ・ルージチコヴァー賞を受賞。副賞として第80回プラハの春国際音楽祭で行われたデビュー公演（於：スメタナホール）に出演、プラハ放送交響楽団とプロコフィエフ≪ヴァイオリン協奏曲第1番≫を演奏して大きな喝采を浴びた。
2018年第87回日本音楽コンクール第2位、併せて岩谷賞(聴衆賞)、黒柳賞を受賞。2020年第18回東京音楽コンクール弦楽部門第2位。2025年メンデルスゾーン全ドイツ音楽大学コンクール（ドイツの全音楽大学から選抜された学生たちが参加）で第1位。2025年1月からベルリン・フィル・カラヤン・アカデミーに在籍。
ソリストとして、ドイツのベルリン・コンツェルトハウス管弦楽団、ホーフ交響楽団、チェコのプラハ・フィルハーモニア、プラハ放送交響楽団、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、東京シティ・フィルハーモニック管弦楽団、日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、藝大フィルハーモニア管弦楽団等と共演。また、室内楽活動も積極的に行っている。
東京都出身。3歳からヴァイオリンを始め、東京藝術大学音楽学部附属音楽高等学校を経て東京藝術大学音楽学部を卒業。安宅賞、宮田亮平奨学金、アカンサス音楽賞等、数々の賞を受賞。現在は、ドイツのリューベック音楽大学修士課程でハイメ・ミュラー氏に師事、研鑽を積んでいる。これまでに川合左余子、川上久雄、小林美恵、清水髙師、玉井菜採、渡辺玲子の各氏に師事。2019・2020年度ヤマハ音楽支援奨学生。2021・2022年度ローム ミュージック ファンデーション奨学生。第50回、第54回江副記念リクルート財団奨学生。

Tsukushi Sasaki
Praised for her artistry and brilliance, Tsukushi Sasaki won First Prize at the 75th Prague Spring International Music Competition, becoming the second Japanese violinist in history to receive this honor. She also received the Prague City Prize, Czech Radio Prize, Bärenreiter Prize, and the Viktor Kalabis and Zuzana Růžičková Prize. Her victory was followed by a concerto debut at the 80th Prague Spring International Music Festival. In 2025, she also captured First Prize at the Mendelssohn Competition in Berlin.
She has been recognized with numerous awards, including Second Prize, the Audience Prize, and the Kuroyanagi Prize at the Japan Music Competition, as well as Second Prize at the Tokyo Music Competition. As a soloist, she has appeared with leading orchestras such as the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Geidai Philharmonia, Hof Symphony Orchestra (Germany), Prague Philharmonia, and the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra (Czech Republic).
Her principal teachers have included Sayoko Kawai, Hisao Kawakami, Mie Kobayashi, Takashi Shimizu, Natsumi Tamai, and Reiko Watanabe.
She has been a scholarship recipient of the Yamaha Music Foundation, the Rohm Music Foundation, and the Ezoe Memorial Recruit Foundation.
A graduate of the Tokyo University of the Arts, she received the Ataka Prize, the Ryohei Miyata Scholarship, and the Acanthus Music Award. She is currently pursuing her Master’s studies at the Lübeck University of Music under Heime Müller, and since January 2025, she has joined the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic.
