Lun Li
ルエン・リーは、世界中の現代の聴衆に向け、感性を刺激し、その枠を押し広げる革新的なコンサート体験を創り上げているヴァイオリニストである。中国・上海出身の彼は、2021年のヤング・コンサート・アーティスト・スーザン・ワズワース国際オーディションで第1位およびポール・A・フィッシュ記念賞を併せて受賞、また、YCA（ヤング・コンサート・アーティスト）のジョン・フレンチ・ヴァイオリン・チェアに任命された。さらに同年には、リリアン&モーリス・バーバッシュJ.S.バッハ・コンクールでも第１位を受賞している。
2024/25年シーズンのハイライトとしては、東京交響楽団、バンゴー交響楽団、スプリングス室内管弦楽団との協奏曲での共演が含まれる。また、リンカーン・センター室内楽協会とのアジアツアーや日本音楽財団とのツアー、YCAとのアメリカツアーにも参加している。 2025/26年シーズンには、ソリストとして大阪交響楽団および京都市交響楽団との共演、サントリーホールでのリサイタルを予定している。このほかソロ・ヴァイオリン・リサイタル・プロジェクト《A Walk Through the Dark Night》をニューポートのパディングストーン・フェスティバルで上演するほか、リンカーン・センター室内楽協会のシーズン開幕公演への出演などを控えている。
リーは、これまでにカーネギー・ホール、ベルリン・コンツェルトハウス、ドレスデン文化宮殿、ウィーン・コンツェルトハウス、キンメルセンターのベライゾン・ホールなど、主要な会場で演奏を行う。また、リンカーン・センター室内楽協会、カーティス音楽院、ミュージシャン・フロム・マールボロとのツアーで、92Yやカーネギー・ホールなどの一流の舞台でも演奏してきた。
室内楽にも強い情熱を持つリーは、バード音楽祭、ベイ室内楽コンサート、ニューポート・クラシカル、マールボロ音楽祭、ヴェルビエ音楽祭、ミュージック・アット・メンロー、エンジェル・ファイアー音楽祭、ティペット・ライズ音楽祭に出演。2024 年からはリンカーン・センター室内楽協会のバウワーズ・プログラムのメンバーとしてレジデンシーを開始している。
リーは、2020年カーティス音楽院で学士卒、2022年ジュリアード音楽院で修士、2024年アーティスト・ディプロマ修了。主にアイダ・カヴァフィアン、キャサリン・チョー、ジョセフ・リンの各氏に師事した。現在はジュリアード音楽院でキャサリン・チョーのティーチング・アシスタントを務めている。
使用楽器は笹川音楽財団保有のストラディヴァリウス1735 年製ヴァイオリン「サマズィユ」。

Lun Li
Lun Li is a violinist devoted to creating thought-provoking, boundary-pushing concert experiences for contemporary audiences worldwide. A native of Shanghai, China, he won First Prize at the 2021 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions, along with the Paul A. Fish Memorial Prize, and was named the John French Violin Chair at YCA. He also took First Prize at the 2021 Lillian and Maurice Barbash J.S. Bach Competition.
Highlights of his 2024–25 season include concerto appearances with the Tokyo Symphony, Bangor Symphony, and the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs. He also tours Asia with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the Nippon Music Foundation, and the U.S. with Young Concert Artists. In the 2025–26 season, Lun will appear as a soloist with the Osaka Symphony and Kyoto Symphony Orchestras, and give a recital at Suntory Hall. His solo violin recital project, A Walk Through the Dark Night, will be presented at the Puddingstone Festival in Newport. He will also perform in the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s opening night concert.

In 2024, he began his residency as a member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s Bowers Program.
Lun holds degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music (BM ’20) and The Juilliard School (MM ’22, AD ’24). His principal mentors include Ida Kavafian, Catherine Cho, and Joseph Lin. He currently serves as a teaching assistant to Catherine Cho at Juilliard. He performs on the 1735 “Samazeuilh” Stradivarius violin, on loan from the Sasakawa Music Foundation.
