Joshua Brown
「音色の豊かさ、解釈のエレガンス、そして作品にすべてを捧げるひたむきさ」（『ラ・リーブル』紙）で、世界中の聴衆や批評家から絶賛されているヴァイオリニスト、ジョシュア・ブラウン。2025年にエイブリー・フィッシャー・キャリアグラントを授与されたほか、ブリュッセルで開催された2024年のエリザベート王妃国際音楽コンクールで第2位および二つの聴衆賞を受賞し、世界的な注目を集めた。このほかにも2023年第1回グローバル・ミュージック・エデュケーション国際ヴァイオリン・コンクール（中国・北京）や、2019年レオポルト・モーツァルト国際ヴァイオリン・コンクール（ドイツ・アウクスブルク）で優勝。 2025年CAGルイ＆スーザン・マイゼル賞を受賞したことにより、CAG、YCAT共同所属アーティストとして選出され、コンサート・アーティスツ・ギルド（CAG）およびヤング・クラシカル・アーティスツ・トラスト（YCAT）に所属している
クリーヴランド管弦楽団とのデビュー公演で高く評価され、以来ミュンヘン放送管弦楽団、MDR交響楽団、インディアナポリス交響楽団、シカゴ・シビック・オーケストラ、イースト・コースト室内管弦楽団、ベルギー国立管弦楽団、リエージュ王立フィルハーモニー管弦楽団など、世界中のオーケストラと定期的に共演を重ね、絶賛を浴びている。 近年の公演や今後の出演予定としては、サンディエゴ交響楽団およびノースカロライナ交響楽団との協奏曲デビューのほか、イザベラ・スチュワート・ガードナー美術館やマーキン・ホールでのリサイタル出演が挙げられる。

Joshua Brown
Violinist Joshua Brown has been praised by audiences and critics worldwide for his "richness of sound, elegance of reading...commitment of every moment at the service of the work..." (La Libre). Joshua was awarded a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant and gained international attention after winning the 2nd Prize and both Audience Awards at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. Other international competition successes include 1st Prizes at both the inaugural 2023 Global Music Education International Violin Competition in Beijing, China, as well as the 2019 International Violin Competition of Leopold Mozart in Augsburg, Germany. As the recipient of a 2025 CAG Louis and Susan Meisel Prize, Joshua was selected to be a shared CAG-YCAT artist and is currently represented by Concert Artists Guild and Young Classical Artists Trust.
Joshua was first recognized for his debut performance with the Cleveland Orchestra and has gone on to perform regularly with orchestras around the world, including the Munich Radio Orchestra, MDR Sinfonieorchester, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Civic Orchestra, East Coast Chamber Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra, and Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liege, among others, continually garnering praise from critics. Recent and forthcoming performances include concerto debuts with the San Diego and North Carolina Symphonies, as well as recital appearances at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and Merkin Hall.
A passionate recitalist and chamber musician, Joshua is a 2027-30 Bowers Program Artist at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. He has also appeared regularly in series such as Chicago's Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series, Festival Musiq3 in Brussels, the Tchaikovsky Festival in Moscow, the ProMusica series in Mexico, the Matinée Musicale series in Cincinnati, the Jupiter Chamber Players series in New York City, and the North Shore Chamber Music Festival in Chicago. Joshua received the Kronberg Academy's 2023 Manfred Grommek Prize, and has been named a Pirastro Artist, Yamaha Young Performing Artist, and Luminarts Fellow, among other awards.
Joshua received his Artist Diploma as part of the New England Conservatory of Music's Institute for Concert Artists under Donald Weilerstein after also earning his Bachelor and Master of Music there. Before his time at NEC, Joshua studied with Almita and Roland Vamos at the Music Institute of Chicago.
